Here’s the truth: When you focus on not having what you want, you’re pushing it away. When you’re aligned with your desires, you feel hopeful, eager, and energized about them—before they even show up.
We often spend more time not lining up than we do actually lining up. But once you make the shift, everything starts falling into place.
Your emotions are the best indicator of your alignment. Here’s how to tell where you stand:
It’s that simple. The more positive your emotional state, the more aligned you are with the best version of yourself—and the faster you attract what you want.
When I lost eight dress sizes in six months, it wasn’t because I forced myself to diet or suffer through workouts I hated. It was because I was completely lined up with what I wanted.
I looked in the mirror and thought, Your outside doesn’t match your inside. I wasn’t focused on what I didn’t want (feeling unhealthy or stuck in old habits). Instead, I focused on what felt good—eating nourishing food, moving my body, and enjoying the process.
I didn’t count calories or obsess over weight loss. I just made choices that aligned with my goal, one meal and one workout at a time. And guess what? The transformation happened naturally.
The same principle applies to everything in life. If you’re struggling to manifest your desires, check in: Are you focused on enjoying the journey or stressing over the outcome?
If you want to master alignment, follow this simple process:
Write down exactly what you want. Be specific. More money? How much? A new job? What kind? A healthier body? What does that look and feel like?
Notice how you feel about your goal. If you feel doubt, fear, or frustration, shift your focus to something that excites you about it.
Live as if your desire is already on its way. Make choices that align with having it now. If you want financial abundance, feel abundant now. If you want better health, treat your body like you already have that health.
When you focus on not having what you want, you create resistance. Instead, focus on how good it feels to move toward your goal.
Alignment isn’t about struggle—it’s about ease and flow. When you love the process, results come naturally.
In 2008, my husband lost his job, and we lived off our savings for two years. I had been a stay-at-home mom for 15 years with zero recent job experience and no college degree.
I could have spiraled into fear (Who would hire me? How will I support my family?). But instead, I chose alignment. I decided: If I’m going to leave my home and kids, it’s going to be for something meaningful.
I didn’t know where to look. But when I got into my van and prayed for guidance, an intuitive nudge told me to check out a new gym at the end of my street.
I almost ignored it. But I trusted the feeling. I pulled into the parking lot, saw a Help Wanted sign, and walked in.
Long story short? I got hired on the spot—even without experience. Because I was lined up with what I wanted: work that mattered, in an uplifting environment.
